Trevor Price is a returning junior at the Southern Methodist University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. This summer, he will research on Nanophase Fe Oxide Coated on Natural Zeolite plant growth medium, and Amorphous SiO₂ labeled as Biosilica for various applications. He was awarded a Student Research Assistantship (SRA) fellowship by the university, and will join Dr. Vempati’s team He will join Dr. Vempati’s team. He is excited to work in a research laboratory and gain a better understanding of what a career in chemistry may have in store.
